This sixth installment of our 2019 Graduate Colloqium series, will feature M.A. students Julia Paré and Sammi Richter. Both students will be presenting research derived from their 510A papers. Julia's presentation is entitled "An Island unto Themselves: Personal and Cultural Trauma in Sophocles' Philoctetes". Sammi's presentation is entitled "The Power of a Hero: Placement of Erotic Curse Tablets in Nemea, Greece."
