Our annual Homerathon (an all-day reading of one of Homer's epic poems in English) is scheduled for February 9th, 2022!
Eta Sigma Phi invites you to join us for our annual Homerathon, taking place on February 9th from 7:00am - 9:30pm on the Mall, directly across the sidewalk from the Student Union Memorial Center. Each year, Classics students and faculty come together to take turns reading one of Homer's epics continuously from beginning to end. This year, we will be reading the Odyssey. To join us and sign up for a 15-minute reading slot, please add your name to the sign-up sheet linked below. All are welcome! COVID Safety:
The event will be outdoors, and we will request that all attendees except the current reader remain masked. The podium will be at a safe distance from the seating area.
