Gregory McNamee

In the nearly 40 years since attaining my degrees, I have worked as a writer, publisher, and literary consultant in nearly every imaginable permutation. My reading of the Odyssey has enabled me to hold being versatile "polytropos" as a working ideal, and my reading of the other great works, guided by my professors all those years ago, has given me practical ideals to contemplate each day. I am glad each day for having chosen the path I did, which incorporates the social sciences and hard sciences as well, all organized under the general aegis of the Humanities.
